The Ngọc Luật Story
Ngọc Luật was established in the Hoàn Kiếm district of Hanoi with a specific purpose: to offer individuals and businesses access to legal services that are thorough, clearly communicated, and fairly priced.
The practice grew from a recognition that many clients — particularly those approaching legal matters for the first time — feel uncertain not just about outcomes, but about the process itself. What will happen, in what order, and why. Ngọc Luật was designed to answer those questions as a matter of course, not as an afterthought.
Over the years, the practice has focused on three areas where documentation quality and procedural accuracy have direct consequences: property transactions, intellectual property registration, and ongoing commercial legal support. These are areas where errors can be costly and where clients benefit most from counsel that reads carefully and explains clearly.
Our office remains in Hoàn Kiếm — a deliberate choice that keeps us close to the courts, registries, and regulatory offices we work with regularly.

Professional Registration
All legal practitioners at Ngọc Luật hold current registration with the Vietnam Bar Federation and maintain their annual continuing professional development requirements.
Client Confidentiality
All client matters, documents, and communications are treated as strictly confidential. We do not discuss client affairs externally, and our files are maintained under appropriate security controls.
Document Review Standards
Every document prepared or reviewed by our lawyers undergoes internal quality review before delivery. We do not release instruments without a second read by a senior member of the practice.
Regulatory Monitoring
Vietnamese law changes regularly. We maintain current awareness of amendments affecting property, intellectual property, and commercial law — and communicate relevant updates to retainer clients.
Conflict of Interest Policy
We conduct conflict checks at the outset of each new engagement and decline to act where our obligations to existing clients would be compromised.
Transparent Billing
Our fees are stated before engagement begins. Billing is tied to the defined scope of each service. Any adjustment to scope is discussed and agreed with the client before additional work proceeds.
